Meet the Team
Due to our commitment to safeguarding children, we follow a carefully structured recruitment and selection procedure.
Our setting is led by an experienced Manager who leads the team of qualified Pre-School and Nursery assistants.
Staffing levels are correct to the adult, child ratios and all training and qualification requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
All our staff are carefully chosen for their many excellent qualities, experience, personality and most importantly their dedication to and enthusiasm for teaching children to learn through play. All staff are DBS checked and qualified.
We are committed to providing a supportive and progressive environment for staff where on-going training and development needs are met.
Anne
Early Years Professional Status, BA honours – Childcare & Early Years. NNEB, SENCO, Portage, First Aid, Food Hygiene, B.S.L. Makaton, Safeguarding, Makaton Workshop Level 1.
Paul
Paul is Co Owner and Business Director of the setting.
He has over 20 years experience within education.
Lucy
Lucy is an early years educator and is the Explorers Room Leader and Nursery Deputy Manager. She is qualified to NVQ 3 and has over 10 years experience within childcare. Lucy has been with Blue Bear for over a year.
